This project focused on creating a blog content strategy to make gift discovery easier and more inspiring for customers. By producing tailored, SEO-optimised articles for different interests, occasions, and personalities, we aimed to guide shoppers toward relevant products while boosting the site’s visibility in search engines. Each piece linked strategically to product pages, helping move visitors further along the buying journey. Challenge

As Cafe Kado’s product range rapidly expanded—thanks to a growing number of artists regularly adding new creations—it became harder for customers to find the right gift quickly. The sheer volume of options made browsing overwhelming, especially for those shopping for someone with specific interests or on a special occasion. This friction in the shopping experience was directly impacting the site’s conversion rate: visitors were browsing multiple pages but often leaving without adding items to their cart.

Strategy & Approach

We developed a structured blog content strategy based on keyword research using tools like Semrush, focusing on common gifting scenarios tied to different personalities, interests, and occasions. This included articles like “Gift Ideas for Music Lovers,” “Presents for Athletes,” or “Anniversary Gifts,” all designed to inspire shoppers and help them quickly discover relevant products.

Each article was internally linked to matching product pages, contributing to both SEO and conversion. To keep content fresh and indexed, we regularly updated posts with newly added products from the marketplace. Using tools like Google Search Console, we continuously reviewed traffic, keyword performance, and user behaviour to refine and optimise content over time.
