Boom Kids – Brand & Marketing Strategy

Project Overview

Boom Kids is an experience-based learning centre that introduces children to art and basic architectural concepts. The project aimed to build a clear brand identity from scratch and develop a strategic marketing foundation. I led the definition of the brand’s mission, vision, and value proposition, and collaborated on the execution of its visual identity. Alongside branding, I designed a social media-driven marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, attract target audiences, and support future program launches.

Project Brief & Needs

Boom Kids was a newly launched experiential learning centre focused on introducing children to creative disciplines like architecture and art through hands-on, activity-based education. As a brand at the concept stage, the centre required:

 

  1. A well-defined mission, vision, and brand values to articulate its educational philosophy and connect with like-minded parents.

  2. A cohesive visual identity that reflected its playful yet premium positioning in the creative learning space.

  3. A clear and compelling value proposition that differentiated it from traditional tutoring centres and hobby-based classes.

  4. A strategic marketing and content roadmap, with a strong emphasis on social media, to build trust, educate the market, and drive enrolments.

 

Approach & Execution

  • Brand Foundation: Developed the brand’s mission, vision, and values to reflect its child-centred, creative learning philosophy. This served as the north star for all visual and verbal communications.

  • Visual Identity Execution: Worked closely with a graphic designer to translate the brand strategy into a playful, premium visual identity, including logo, typography, and colour palette.

  • Value Proposition Design: Defined a clear, parent-facing value proposition that positioned Boom Kids as a space for creative skill-building rather than just childcare or entertainment.

  • Marketing & Content Strategy: Created a digital-first marketing plan focusing on content-led social media growth. This included educational posts for parents, behind-the-scenes class previews, testimonials, and storytelling around student outcomes.

  • Social Media Launch & Execution: Rolled out a tailored content calendar across Instagram and Telegram, blending brand storytelling with conversion-focused messaging to build awareness and drive early enrolments.

Results & Branding Impact

  1. Defined a cohesive brand identity aligned with Boom Kids’ educational values

  2. Increased brand awareness within the creative parenting community through consistent messaging and visual design

  3. Gained 500+ new Instagram followers organically over 6 months

  4. Achieved an average 22% post engagement rate

  5. Maintained over 80% story view retention, reflecting strong audience interest

  6. Created 3 high-converting posts, each generating 10+ direct trial session enquiries

  7. Improved brand recognition through increased brand mentions and word-of-mouth referrals
